What are the four steps to the creative process, in your own words?
The first step to the creative process is researching. People should research and study things that they are interested in, and they should be ready to create and accept other information.
The second step to the creative process is making your brain empty. People usually want to think in easy ways, and they only focus on common senses. They should get rid of that mind, and they should think newly. People should feel afraid of doing new things
The third step to the creative process is performing with the new mind. When you cannot think about new things, you should relax and do what you want. It will help you to imagine and innovate.
The final step to the creative process is showing and presenting you works to people. If you only know the new things, it is nothing, but if you share with other people. It will become useful.
What is functional fixedness and what are the problems that are associated with this way of thinking?
They will only think things that were already created in the world. They will forget to imagine, and they will only think about possibilities. When people create something, they should imagine, and they should try something that is impossible.
What are the benefits of group brainstorming?
According to the Researchers, people can know that when teams of people are working together on a problem, those groups that laugh a lot and they are more creative and productive than people who are dour and decorous counterparts. “Joking around makes good sense: Playfulness is itself a creative state.”
Explain a time when you used this (or parts of the) process in the past for a project or creative solution to an everyday problem. Do you think these stages were beneficial to the end result?
Every time when I do my project, I always research some information on Internet and from books. From the research, I get basic information and background. I usually discuss with my friends to understand the project more easily and deeply, and my friends and I share our ideas and advise each other about the ideas. After the discussion, I summarize what I planed and information from Internet, books and my friends. Finally, I imagine things, which are so creative, and I add to my plan and ideas that I got from the discussion. As like the project, when I have an everyday problem, I search on Internet and ask my friends to solve my problems. These two methods really help me to create and solve my problems because they tell me things, which I never imagine before.
Are there any methods for finding new ideas that tap into emotions, physical sensations, or actions, which serve as doorways to creativity?
I think fantasy books and comic books really help people to think creatively because usually, fantasy books and comic books talk about things, which do not exist in the world. People can get much information for future from them.
How would this kind of kinesthetic (physical movement), or emotional intelligence fair during the 1500-1800 in Europe?
Historical Roots
-Reformation 1500-1700 Europe:
Many people died because of witch-hunts. Maybe, common people could not do anything freely because the emperor and noble had strong power at the time, so they did not allow common people to live fairly.
-Renaissance 1500-1800 Europe: invention/science:
At the time, people started to invent, and they got interested in science. From the fact, people can know that people have some freedom to do with their mind and plan, but women could not be free as much as men could.
-Industrial Revolution 1700-1850 Western World: women- frail, dependent
At the time, women started to work as like men, so they could get little freedom.
-Art Press and Museums-Futurism, Surrealism, DADA, Fluxus:
According to the dictionary, Surrealism is 20th-century avant-garde movement in art and literature that sought to release the creative potential of the unconscious mind, for example by the irrational juxtaposition of images.
From the definition, people can know that people can live fairly.
